The dedicated team at Luxury Waiheke have a dream to match our guests with the classic luxury, blissful romance and breath-taking views that Waiheke Island has to offer. As locals, we know what makes this island so special. We look forward to sharing our local knowledge and assisting our guests with all aspects of their stay.

Kimberly Rae

Kim moved to Waiheke with her family in 2006 after spending over 20 years in New York City as the managing director of her own clothing design and manufacturing business. Kim brings her business management skills and experience to Luxury Waiheke establishing the brand as the premier Waiheke Island accommodation provider.  

Leanne Annabell

Leanne has been living on Waiheke for over 20 years with her family and joined the Stay Waiheke team in 2014.  Having spent over 20 years working in Travel and Tourism, Leanne has a strong customer service and team management background having worked in sales and heading a department at a Private school for many years. Leanne drives our core weekly communication with owners sending income statements, invoices and future payments and any repairs, maintenance that may arise.

Rachel Gray

Rachel Gray:

Rachel has extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sector having worked in sales and marketing for an international airline and as an independent Travel Broker, which requires a strong customer service focus and attention to detail. Rachel has also been involved in training for the travel, tourism and hospitality sector in tertiary institutions, as well as working directly with tourism organisations. 

 

 

 

 

Amy Taylor 

Amy has had close connections with the Island since childhood and has worked with Stay Waiheke since 2012. Formerly immersed in the IT industry, Amy brings her skills and knowledge in this area to her role with a crossover into our accounting practices.  To balance out the disciplines of binary thinking Amy is passionate about promoting the company via social and print media working closely with the amazing team at PR firm NSPR to help tell the world about Stay Waiheke and the properties in our portfolio.

Kym Tyler

Kym has lived on Waiheke since childhood and is our resident “local”.  She manages the bookings team ensuring all guest enquiries are responded to quickly and efficiently.  Kym has a knack for providing clients with support finding the best property match for their holiday.  

 

Elizabeth Dobson

Many Waiheke residents will know Liz from her days working as a nurse at the veterinary clinic in Oneroa.  Liz has made a career shift joining Stay Waiheke in 2019 working alongside Kym on the bookings team, meeting/greeting guests on arrival and managing the post stay departure checks and sundry restocks.

 

Clara Brizuela

Clara manages guest services at Stay Waiheke.  She meets guests on arrival if applicable and coordinates, provisioning, bookings for restaurants, activities, transport and other services for our visitors.  Clara also manages departure checks and sundry restocking at the homes.

 

Felicia Unverricht

Felicia is also a Waiheke “local” who has lived on the island with her family since 2005.  Felicia brings her previous experience in office management and banking to Stay Waiheke and looks after our company HR, Health & Safety, coordinates water/gas for homes and scheduling of all property maintenance.  Required maintenance is reported and logged.  Felicia works alongside the homeowner to assist with coordinating tradespeople, our  in-house team and ongoing maintenance work.

 

Housekeeping and Property Maintenance

At Stay Waiheke we employ our own full-time cleaners (a team of up to 12) led by two supervisors - Mora and Ale, who look after our properties to a high and consistent standard.  We can provide and set up homes with premium, hotel quality  linen hire and a full range of sundry supplies for guests.  Our gardener/handyman, Scott, is also available, if/when required, for lawn mowing, window cleaning and general maintenance.  We supply the team with vehicles and all equipment required for the work.
